A Community Enhancement Dialogue was held at CAC's North County Regional office today. CAC invited neighbors to share concerns and brainstorm solutions to emerging neighborhood problems. Thank you to all who attended including: Vincent Martinez Managing Partner of Twitchell and Rice LLP and CAC Board member, Good Samaritan, Santa Maria Valley Youth and Family Center, Santa Barbara County Public Health, Santa Maria Police Department, Union Plaza Senior Apartments, and a representative from the homeless community. The group, which is open to anyone who would like to discuss the climate of the neighborhood, will meet again in 3 months. The meeting generated ideas about safety improvements, resources for the homeless population, law enforcement support, plans for mental health services, and most importantly the connection with our neighbors.
There they go again! Making us all so proud with the provision of high quality, nationally recognized early care and education and family services.

The panelists were Ashley Costa, Healthy Lompoc Coalition, Erik Talkin, Foodbank SB, joyce ellen lippman, Central Coast Commission for Senior Citizens, and CAC's own Rosa Zavala.
