About Us 

The Santa Barbara California- Student Opportunity & Access Program (Cal-SOAP) is now a part of the Community Action Commission (CAC) of Santa Barbara County. The Community Action Commission is a visible provider of family and youth services throughout Santa Barbara County. It is a partnership that will prove to be long-lasting and beneficial to both organizations, the community at large and the students being served by Santa Barbara Cal-SOAP.

Services

Tutoring

Students from Santa Barbara Colleges and University tutor in the classroom to assist students with mastering course material to prepare them for entry into post-secondary education.

Financial Aid

Cal-SOAP provides in-class and afterhours financial aid workshops for students and parents. Financial Aid professionals help parents and students navigate the often confusing topic of college financial aid.
