CAC’s Youth Corps Program

CAC’s Youth Corps program offers young men and women an opportunity to serve their community by providing them with life skills training, education, and work experience.
The Youth Corps program has three crews with training and experience in green construction/deconstruction, trail building, habitat conservation, green landscaping and many other important job skills such as working in teams, accountability, community services and pride in ones ability to give back to their communities. In Santa Barbara County we have three deployable crews who are building their equipment inventory and skills each day in the project set forth and completed. We have our own transportation and expert crew leaders who mentor and supervise your youth. At times, senior corps members may be assigned projects, without leadership of crew leaders. This is typical in local community events.
The Youth Corps program is currently developing working relationships and/or partnerships with government agencies, local non-government organizations, and/or businesses that provide services to improve Santa Barbara County communities. The Youth Corps program is interested in opportunities for ongoing work/learn projects that will provide work experience and training opportunities for Youth Corps members.
